Description+
Dimensions: 60 cm diameter × 30 cm height
There is a particular kind of stillness that comes with a well-made object. This pouf carries that quality — it settles into a room without fuss, without announcement, and yet it changes the feeling of the space around it. The sunburst stitching radiates outward from the center of the top panel in long, even arcs, each one pulled by hand with the kind of consistency that only comes from years of practice. It is a pattern that has been used in Moroccan leatherwork for generations, and it remains as compelling now as it ever was.
The leather itself is full-grain, sourced and tanned in Morocco using methods that have changed very little over time. It has a slight natural variation in texture — not a flaw, but a record of the hide's origin. As you use it, the surface will develop a patina that no factory process can replicate. The stitching will hold. The shape will hold. These are not things that need to be promised; they are simply what happens when materials are good and the hands that work them know what they are doing.
At 30 cm tall and 60 cm in diameter, this pouf works as a footrest beside a reading chair, as a low seat when guests arrive, or simply as an object that makes a corner feel considered. It is light enough to move without effort.
To care for it, wipe the surface with a dry cloth and condition the leather periodically with a natural leather balm. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight. With basic attention, it will last for years and look better for the wear.
