The main compartment opens fully with a wide U-shaped zipper, making it easy to pack and find things without unpacking everything first. The base is reinforced with a rigid panel that keeps the bag upright and protects the bottom from wear. Two end pockets provide additional organization for shoes, toiletries, or anything else you want to keep separate. The handles are triple-stitched at the attachment points, which is where most bags eventually fail. A detachable shoulder strap offers an alternative carry option. The leather is a deep, warm brown that will develop a surface character unique to each bag over time.
