Can you get a sample first? For any order above a trial size, insist on a sample unit. Stitching quality, leather grade, and colour consistency are things you need to feel, not just see in a product photo.
What's the actual lead time, door to door? Not just a shipping estimate — door to door, including customs if applicable. Build in a buffer for your client deadline.
