Every pouf in our collection comes in two options — €99 unstuffed or €139 stuffed. Here's exactly how to decide which one is right for you, beyond just the price difference.

What you're actually choosing between

An unstuffed pouf ships as a flat, empty leather cover. You fill it yourself at home with shredded fabric, old clothing, wool, or a dedicated filling material. A stuffed pouf arrives already filled and ready to use the moment it's unboxed.

Choose unstuffed if...

• You want to use materials you already have at home — old clothes or fabric scraps work well and reduce waste
• You're comfortable spending 20-30 minutes filling and adjusting the firmness yourself
• You want the lowest shipping weight and footprint, especially useful if you're ordering multiple poufs

Choose stuffed if...

• You want it ready to use the same day it arrives, with no setup required
• You'd rather not source or buy filling material separately
• You want a guaranteed consistent firmness rather than depending on how well you pack it yourself

The price difference, explained honestly

The €40 difference (€99 vs €139) reflects the cost of the filling material itself and the extra shipping weight of a filled pouf versus a flat one — it's not a markup for convenience alone.

If you go unstuffed, here's what fills it best

Old clothing and fabric scraps are the traditional filling and work very well — crumple loosely rather than packing too tightly at first, then add more for firmness. Avoid foam beads if you want a firm, supportive seat rather than a soft bean-bag feel; beads compress over time and don't hold shape the way dense fabric does.

Either way, the leather is identical

The stuffed/unstuffed choice has nothing to do with leather quality — every pouf in our Poufs & Ottomans collection uses the same full-grain, hand-stitched leather regardless of which option you choose. It's purely a question of convenience versus a small upfront DIY step.
